City Harvest Church Rocks!!!

Wow!!! It was an absolutely electrifying atmosphere THREE nights in a row in Sunway Convention Centre where the Worship/Revival concert was held by City Harvest Church Singapore! I'm teling you that I didn't regret going for THREE nights consecutively cos it was definitely worth it...Thank you Vanessa for telling me about this concert...My dear friend sms me on Saturday afternoon while I was in KLCC's Coffee Bean, asking whether I'm interested to go to this concert and I said, "Yeah, why not!" Boy it was an experience of a lifetime and man they are really good!

The first night, Monday, we, that is Rachel, Vanessa, Grace, Samantha and I, managed to get seats in the middle section where we can see the stage quite clearly...However we were sorta blinded by the spotlights that were shining so brightly into our eyes that we can barely look at the screen...Nevertheless it didn't stop us from singing our hearts out and worship God with all that we have...The atmosphere that night was simply fantastic! The songs...wow...it just moved my heart...Pastor Kong Hee's preaching was simply powerful...It was a very riveting experience that we decide to come back the next night, Tuesday night...for more..and boy we are glad that we did =) We saw some of our P105 juniors there too and I gave them a lift home...Though we went home tired, we also felt refreshed from the whole night's experience =)

The second night, Tuesday, Debbie, Rachel, Grace, Christina, Vanessa and I, excitedly went up to the 10th floor after having dinner in Ichiban Ramen...Vanessa's friend, Leon, has already reserved seats for us and it's on the 2nd row from the front! That night we felt even closer to the stage and the music was simply mind-blowing! We danced and we sang and we worshipped God and we praised God like no other...And again that night, we went home feeling rejuvenated from being with God..It's simply amazing...

The third and final night, Wednesday, Rachel, Vanessa, Grace, Debbie and I, had dinner in Kim Gary's...Yummy yummy French Toast =) and I tried something new yesterday, it's called One-Bite Snack Sausage and Pineapple...Hmmm yummy yummy too =) After that we made our way up to the Sunway Convention Centre, ready for another night of reverberating atmosphere that awaits us...We were greeted warmly as usual by the ushers and we got ourselves seated once we got in...We spotted Vivian there with her friends and she came over to sit with us...When the band started playing, we leaped to our feets and join in the dancing and singing =) Hmm the crowd was so energetic as you can see young and old moving along with the rhythm of the music...It's simply breathtaking! After the concert ended, there was an autograph session by all the performers and since I bought 2 CDs, I got a poster free =) I lined up to get my CDs signed together with Rachel and Grace who were excited about getting a photo taken with one of the lead singer, Mark Kwan...Their wish came true =) Well no matter how much we enjoyed it, the night ended but we have no regrets cos we went all the way and wow what an overwhelming experience it has been...
Thank you City Harvest Church for organising such an exciting event and it even though when they come next year I might not be able to watch them cos I might already be in Scotland, I'll still look forward to the next time where I'll get to see them perform again =) Thanks gurlz for the 3 nights too! It's been wonderful sharing this experience with you all!!! =p

I'm BACK!

Hey people =) Finally I'm back by popular demand...hehe...ok ok well actually many people have been asking me about my blog which sorta died after I made my maiden post so I've decided to make a comeback =) My blog is alive again! Well well, it's been a really long time since I last blogged and my 2 good friends, Rachel and Grace have been asking me when I'm gonna update my blog so to you 2 people, you're question is answered =) Today is the 3rd of Aug, officially into the 9th week of Semester 4...wow, half of Semester 4 has come and gone...Time seriously fly at a very fast speed, maybe the speed of light =p While having lunch on rooftop just now, I had a plaseant surprise when I saw Yien Nee, my ex-housemate whom I stayed with way back when I was in Semester 1 in Vista C...Come to think about it, it' not thaaattt way back cos it's only last year =p but somehow it seems like a long time already...It's really good to see her again and we exchanged numbers so we could keep in touch...She just graduated from Scotland and she's here to pay for the Convo ceremony and according to her we'll have 3 convo ceremonies in total! Wow...that's quite a lot rite but guess everyone has to go thru it...for me I'll be looking forward for my first one next year =)

During lunch too my friends, Grace, Debbie, Rachel, Samantha and I had a discussion on what movie to watch and we decided on watching 'The Island' cos Yih Yang recommended it...Hmm it better be good Yih Yang or else...Hehe joking lah, I've heard pretty good reviews myself about it too anyway so I think we'll all enjoy the movie...Hmm let me see what can I say some more here..oh ya Christina just walked in to Cal Lab and I told her excitedly that my blog is alive again and she said, 'Finally!' =) Ee Lyn heard too and she too said, "Wah, finally your blog is alive again ah!' =) Looks like people are glad I'm back =p

Oklah to all my fans out there I promise to update my blog often and try my best to not disappoint you guys again =p Ok ok kinda perasan here but just wanna say thanks for still checking whether I post any new messages on my blog even though it's been in the inactivated state for quite long already...hehe...well signing off now but will be back soon...

Maiden post =)

Hello everyone :-) Heard my housemates talking about this new thing called 'blog' yesterday..Then I sat beside my friend Elyne who asked me to visit her page today...Hmm then I thought to myself, why not sign up and put my creative writing skillts to a test? It's not a bad idea after all since it's a good way for me to put into words what I feel...So let's start with how is the weather today, haha maybe it's kinda lame but I think the weather does affect how someone feels...When I woke up this morning, I feel cold...and this cold feeling makes me wanna creep back under my blanket so I could continue my beauty sleep...But after glancing at the clock, I knew I had to get up..Guess today's not the day to laze around...Back to the weather, I looked out the window and discovered it has been raining, in fact it's still raining..that explains the coldness I felt earlier on...Suddenly I just have the urge to write a post-it note to my housemate to wish her good luck in her oral BM exam later so that's precisely what I did ;-) I realise I might be someone who acts on impulse and follow my urge...I don't know if it's a good thing or not but so far nothing bad has happened so I guess it's not that bad...Well let's see...I was contemplating to have something for breakfast just don't know what is that something...Hmm Famous Amos or Chipsmore? Lastly I chose Chipsmore for no apparent reason...I sat down with my cute tiny little packet of Chipsmore with this recent book that I'm hooked on to: Chocolate for a Lover's Heart by Kay Allenbaugh..This book is really nice, consisting of stories that warm my heart and makes me feel that hey love actually is all around us =) After that mummy dearest called and I talked to hear a while...Basically nothing's on my agenda today except going to uni for my oral BM exam in the afternoon...Hmm let's shift the surrounding to my CAL lab at uni where I discovered this blog site...Then it's time for me to go for my oral test...I've gotta admit that I'm not exactly nervous...I just strode down to the room, on the way saying hi and bye to some people, and went in when asked to by the teacher...Everything went well, I said what I have to say and I got the marks I need...Well on my back I met my friend Dylan who coincidentally had the same intention as me, have lunch :-) We head to rooftop and had a hearty lunch...After lunch I came back to CAL lab and posted this very fist message on my page =) and I am proud. Period.
